Strengthening Santa Fe's Creative Economy

Patricia Conor Hodapp

Patricia Hodapp is the Director of Libraries for the Santa Fe Public Library. Previous to moving to Santa Fe in 2004, she was the Director of Marketing for the Denver Public Library. Ms. Hodapp's other associations include President of the American Library Association's Public Relations Division from 1999 to 2001 and Chair of the Colorado Library Association's Legislative Committee.

She is also a print artist and from 1988 to 2000 was an Associate Professor of Art at the University of Illinois. Her honors include a Ford Foundation Grant; Missouri State Council on the Arts Grant; Chicago Art Awards nominee for best themed show; and a Distinguished Alumni Award for Fine Art Printmaking.

In addition to her service on the Board of Creative Santa Fe, Ms. Hodapp is on the Board of Zona del Sol and is a member of Friends of the Library. In 2008, she was a nominee for Woman of the Year by the Capital City Business and Professional Women and was awarded the City of Santa Fe's Employee of the Month in May 2007.

Ms. Hodapp received her BA, teaching certificate, MS in Library Science from Western Michigan University, and an Honorary Degree from the Kansas City Art Institute.
