Jack H. Lemon
Jack Lemon is the Founder and President of Landfall Press, Inc. and an arts educator and lecturer. He has experience as the Director and faculty member of the Kansas City Art Institute Lithography Workshop and Chairman of the Fine Arts Department and Director of Lithography of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Dr. Lemon has been a Visiting Lecturer at many notable organizations and institutions including the Tamarind Institute; the University of Wisconsin; California State University; New York University; and the Art Institute of Chicago. In 1997, the Museum of Modern Art celebrated the unique vision of Landfall Press and its founder Jack Lemon in the exhibition A Singular Vision: Prints from Landfall Press.
In addition to his position as a Board Member of Creative Santa Fe, Dr. Lemon is on the Board of the International Fine Print Dealers Association, a trustee of the Richard Florsheim Art Fund, and a member of the Landfall Press Scholarship Fund at the Kansas City Art Institute.
Dr. Lemon received his BFA and PhD in Fine Art from the Kansas City Art Institute. He has studied at the University of Nebraska, the University of New Mexico, and participated in Tamarind Lithography Workshops. |
