With Gratitude, We Reflect and Look Ahead

December 20th, 2022

As we reflect on our year, we are filled with gratitude for all who have supported our revival—our dedicated board of directors, donors, organization partners, sponsors, presenters, volunteers, advisors, and audience.

Our sold-out 2022 PechaKucha Night Santa Fe events lifted us to cloud nine. Thank you for contributing your time and good cheer in support of our 32 presenters—local creatives and changemakers who courageously shared what gives them purpose. On January 19, we resume PechaKucha Night Santa Fe with our always-stylish partner SITE Santa Fe. PechaKucha Night VOL. 16 LOST/FOUND returns Experience Designer Max Neutra to our stage, opening the evening with another witty and philosophical visual story.

Our STORY ME collaboration with New Mexico School for the Arts (NMSA) continues in 2023. STORY ME is a community education program which fosters emerging voices to gain confidence in public speaking and visual storytelling. Two participants from our Fall 2022 STORY ME at NMSA—Vanezia Aguayo and Briseida Bencomo—stepped up to the mic as PechaKucha VOL. 15 PERCEPTION presenters, expanding our hearts and minds with their stories.

In partnership with Santa Fe Innovates and UNM Anderson School of Management, we elevate responsible entrepreneurship in BEYOND PROFIT: A Think + Do Series for Courageous Entrepreneurs. This community education program, launched in September 2022, will continue through Spring 2023. On February 3, CrSF strategic designers John Ravitch and Gray Garmon will lead a design thinking workshop to help entrepreneurs build their start-ups.

We are cooking up more delectable experiences to nourish our community. Exciting news is just around the corner, including the reveal of our Design Collaboration projects with partners St. John’s College and Santa Fe Public Library.

Huge thanks to our sponsor City of Santa Fe Community and Economic Development for their support of 2022 PechaKucha Nights and the BEYOND PROFIT series. Special thanks to our community sponsors—All Print, CafecitoCentury Bank, Santa Fe Audio and Visual, form & concept gallery, Sweetwater Harvest Kitchen, Torboon, Walter Burke Catering, and Wild Leaven Bakery—for pitching in and adding their special touch to our engagements.

Thank YOU for investing in our community-building efforts. Each gift, regardless of size, makes our outreach and programs more vibrant, inclusive, and resilient. Thank you for taking a moment this holiday to continue your support.

Onward to 2023!
