High-Impact Marketing: Next Generation Businesses Need to Focus on Revenue and Reputation

February 18th, 2023

Santa Fe, NM – Creative Santa Fe’s BEYOND PROFIT workshop series on responsible entrepreneurship returns on Thursday, March 2nd, with another thought-provoking session aimed at local business leaders and entrepreneurs, and once again in partnership with Santa Fe Innovates and UNM Anderson School of Management. This latest installment is focused on the critically-important business function of marketing which, according to veteran marketing strategist, chief marketing officer, and session host Julie Crabill, often gets short shrift in start-up culture and the business world generally.

The goal with this session is to offer area businesses a compelling case, and concrete tactics, for integrating marketing best practices from day one, so we’re not left trying to retroactively weave in this mindset (and the organizational structure required to support it). Julie will also be sharing strategies for tailoring our marketing operations to better adapt to modern challenges, like a changing generational power structure, and navigating the fickle winds of social media.

Julie, who lives here in Santa Fe, will drill into the dynamics (both local and global) at play that make this topic all the more timely and relevant. She adds, “the world is changing quickly in the wake of COVID – and a new generation of pro-social, deeply-engaged consumers are about to cause even bigger ripples in the market economy. All while we’re watching traditional business hubs decentralize allowing people to work from anywhere. The way we market our businesses and ourselves needs to evolve and keep pace.”

This session isn’t just for entrepreneurs about to launch a business. Those who wish to integrate a strategic marketing mindset into their current role will take away actionable tips for building both revenue and reputation as they market themselves, their teams, and their organizations as a whole. Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with other members of the business community, and to learn about what other resources already exist that can help business leaders inject a more deliberate approach into their own marketing.

This session will be held at Santa Fe Higher Education Center on Thursday, March 2. Doors open at 5PM. Session begins at 6PM. Arrive early to mingle and enjoy light refreshments.

Registration is required, but the event is free and open to the public.
