Creative Santa Fe, The Santa Fe Opera, and The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum are partnering to present a unique arts nonprofit networking event on Tuesday, July 16th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Bring a picnic and join us for a memorable evening of networking, activities, and refreshments. Our guest presenter Elizabeth Kunz will explore how work and play can intersect and inspire. Afterwards enjoy a free dress rehearsal performance of Jenůfa at the Santa Fe Opera.

In March 2019 Creative Santa Fe hosted The Future of Art: A Disruptive Futures Dialogue. The program brought together hundreds of community voices to identify the opportunities and barriers Santa Fe faces moving into the future of the arts. In response to the question “What are some new projects we can initiate now to support our arts community?” program audiences identified over 220 ideas. Of those project ideas, 13.9% of all responses were focused on building networking opportunities for the arts community, making it the most common theme. Creative Santa Fe used this feedback to inspire new collaborations and opportunities to meet this need for networking.

The Santa Fe Opera is happy to partner and present this free event to build connections in the Santa Fe arts community. The Santa Fe Opera believes that by nurturing an understanding and appreciation for opera to a diverse public we can connect community members to their own personal stories through opera. By working with Creative Santa Fe and the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, we are excited to expand our engagement and build new culture around storytelling.

The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum is committed to fostering a creative and vibrant arts community, understanding that New Mexico’s cultural heritage is most meaningful when understood through the lens of the present. The O’Keeffe is honored to work with Creative Santa Fe and the Santa Fe Opera to create opportunities for networking and community building within the artistic sector.

Registration is required to attend this free event. Registration will open to our mailing list subscribers on July 1st. Bring your own picnic dinner, no outside alcoholic beverages allowed. Beer and wine will be provided. We encourage attendees to bring information on their work to share with other guests. Friends are also encouraged to register.
