Creative Mingle: An Arts & Wellness Networking Event took place Thursday, February 27th from 6-8PM in partnership with Southwestern College and Christus St. Vincent. An evening of refreshments, activities, prizes provided by our community supporters listed below, and networking among Santa Fe’s creative leaders. This networking event was themed around Southwestern College’s esteemed Art Therapy and Counseling degree program. We checked out the campus, learned more about their incredible community resources, and explored how art and wellness intersect and provide opportunities to build a healthier, thriving community.
This event was free but registration was required. Beverages and appetizers provided. We encouraged attendees to bring information on their work to share with other guests. Friends were also encouraged to register. If reservations were at capacity, registrants were added to the waitlist and notified as spaces became available.

About Creative Mingle:
In March 2019 Creative Santa Fe hosted The Future of Art: A Disruptive Futures Dialogue. Program audiences were asked the question “What are some new projects we can initiate now to support our arts community?” Attendees identified over 220 ideas in response, the majority addressing the need for more arts networking opportunities in Santa Fe. Creative Santa Fe responded to this finding with the program series Creative Mingle launched in 2019. The first two events of the series in partnership with the Santa Fe Opera and the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum were a smashing success. After the events attendees reported an average of 6 new connections per person, 45% reported that they discovered a new organization or business, and 32% found a new collaborator. In 2020 Creative Santa Fe will be focusing the series on unique areas of the arts community to spark positive impacts within topics such as social justice, wellness, and nightlife.
