The New Mexico Museum of Art in partnership with Creative Santa Fe presented a talk with Tania Katan celebrating her recently published book Creative Trespassing, A Totally Unauthorized Guide to Sneaking More Imagination into Your Life and Work. Jen Sincero, author of the You Are A Badass book series, also participated in this event.
After more than 10 years of smuggling creativity into the business sector without getting busted, Tania Katan’s new book Creative Trespassing: How to Put the Spark and Joy Back into Your Work and Life is a refreshing look at how to fit creativity into the seemingly mundane.
Katan is a creative disruptor by nature and the brain behind the viral sensation #ItWasNeverADress, which aspired to shift perceptions about women, initially by transforming the ubiquitous bathroom sign from a dress-wearing woman to one donning a superhero cape. “This book is an invitation to find inspiration where others see only limitations, because when we believe that logic and limits are subject to change, the world is full of possibilities,” says Katan.
Jen Sincero is a #1 New York Times bestselling author, success coach and motivational cattle prod who’s helped countless people transform their personal and professional lives via her products, speaking engagements, newsletters, seminars and books.
