For nearly 15 years, Jambo Café has been Santa Fe’s outpost for African-Caribbean flavors. Owned and operated by Kenyan-born chef Ahmed Obo, Jambo has received multiple local and national awards, including multi-year Santa Fe Reporter’s Best International Cuisine and Best Chef. In 2022, Chef Ahmed Obo received a nomination from the James Beard Awards for Best Chef in the Southwest. The focused menu offers a plethora of options to delight meat lovers and vegans alike, as well as those with dairy and gluten sensitivities.
