Creative Santa Fe and the Siler Yard Arts + Creativity Center presented the extraordinary documentary Miracle on 42nd Street at the Santa Fe Violet Crown cinema on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 as a one-night private cocktail party and screening. This documentary details the story of the iconic apartment complex in Manhattan that provided subsidized housing to several artists during the late 1970s: The Manhattan Plaza. This film features Alicia Keys, Donald Faison, Larry David, Samuel L Jackson, Giancarlo Esposito and Angela Lansbury as they all, at one time, lived in the Manhattan Plaza, and got their start with the help of affordable housing.
