Susan S. Szenasy, longtime editor of Metropolis Magazine, writes “Everywhere I look I see web-like patterns. It’s one of those days when patterns start forming in rapid succession. Many of them are invisible, and they’re about to change how our cities work, how we learn, and how we collaborate. I no longer wonder if the patterns I see are a coincidence. They’re not. They signal a confluence of skills, ideas, innovations, and the will to change things for the better in a rapidly changing world.”

WHAT WE LEARNED

Susan Szenasy joined Creative Santa Fe on October 6, 2012 in a ‘Plaza to Plaza’ workshop included in Design Santa Fe. From this workshop came an understanding on how new networks can help spur collaborative efforts and create solutions to seeming intractable problems our communities face. The importance and value of public/private partnerships is a core theme to Szenasy’s practices.
