Kimberly Sheffield grew up in Shallowater, Texas and attended Texas Tech in 1976. Upon graduation she moved to Midland, TX where she lived for almost 20 years. While in Midland, Kimberly worked in the oil industry, volunteered at non-profits throughout the city, and served on the Board of Directors for the Midland Community Theater. While on the board she also chaired the search committee for the new Executive Director in 1997. Kimberly moved to Dallas in 1997 to work for Pioneer Natural Resources. During that time she also served on the Board of Directors for the USA Film Festival. In 2009 she joined the Board of Trustees for the Dallas Theater Center, an organization that won a Tony Award for Regional Theater in 2017. Since moving permanently to Santa Fe in October 2016, she served on the board of the Santa Fe Children’s Museum.
